What containers do you take?
Caged IBC totes at 275 and 330 gallons, steel drums and poly drums in standard sizes. If you have something unusual, send a photo and we will tell you straight away whether we can take it.
Do you accept containers in any condition?
Yes. You do not need to sort them by type or repair anything first. Containers with service life left are reconditioned; the rest are recycled into HDPE and steel. Either way they leave your yard.
All returned drums and IBCs must be emptied as completely as practical, with closures secured and original labels intact. Containers containing excess residue may be refused or subject to additional handling charges; learn more at RIPA's Empty Container Guide.
How does reconditioning work?
Containers arrive and are emptied of residue. Interiors are cleaned by hot-water shot-blasting, which removes product residue without solvents.
Each container is then inspected against UN/DOT criteria. Steel drums that pass are refinished and re-marked; poly drums and IBC bottles are cleaned and pressure-tested. Anything that fails inspection goes to recycling rather than back into service.
Will you pay me for my containers?
Often, yes. Containers with remaining service life carry a rebate, and the rate depends on type, condition and quantity. Send us a count and we will quote it.
Is there a minimum quantity for pickup?
Pickups are most efficient at a full pallet or more. Smaller quantities can be dropped off at our Denver facility during business hours — call ahead so we can have someone meet you.
Do you handle food-grade containers?
Yes. Food-grade reconditioning follows a separate process and separate handling. Tell us at the quote stage so the containers are routed correctly from the start.
What documentation do I get?
You receive records of what was collected and how it was processed. Customers with their own sustainability or waste-diversion reporting use these directly.
What areas do you serve?
Denver Metro and the Colorado Front Range for scheduled collection. For larger volumes outside that area, ask — freight often makes it work.
