How it works
Three steps, and the container never touches a landfill.
Most of what leaves your site has years of service left in it. The rest is material, not waste.
We recondition
Residue is removed by hot-water shot-blasting. Each container is inspected against UN/DOT criteria and either refinished or routed to recycling.
We resupply
Reconditioned containers go back into service at a fraction of new cost. What cannot be saved becomes clean HDPE and steel feedstock.

Reconditioning
Hot water. No solvents.
Residue comes out by hot-water shot-blasting — high-pressure water and abrasive media, not chemicals. Every container is then inspected against UN/DOT criteria before it goes anywhere near your product again.
Steel drums that pass are refinished and re-marked. Poly drums and IBC bottles are cleaned and pressure-tested. Anything that fails goes to recycling instead of back into service — there is no middle grade.

What containers do you take?
Caged IBC totes at 275 and 330 gallons, steel drums and poly drums in standard sizes. If you have something unusual, send a photo and we will tell you straight away whether we can take it.
Do you accept containers in any condition?
Yes. You do not need to sort them by type or repair anything first. Containers with service life left are reconditioned; the rest are recycled into HDPE and steel. Either way they leave your yard.
Empty container reminder
All returned drums and IBCs must be emptied as completely as practical, with closures secured and original labels intact. Containers containing excess residue may be refused or subject to additional handling charges; learn more at RIPA's Empty Container Guide.
How does reconditioning work?
Containers arrive and are emptied of residue. Interiors are cleaned by hot-water shot-blasting, which removes product residue without solvents.
Each container is then inspected against UN/DOT criteria. Steel drums that pass are refinished and re-marked; poly drums and IBC bottles are cleaned and pressure-tested. Anything that fails inspection goes to recycling rather than back into service.
Will you pay me for my containers?
Often, yes. Containers with remaining service life carry a rebate, and the rate depends on type, condition and quantity. Send us a count and we will quote it.
